“ It’s my 2nd time at The Kitchen and this time I brought my family along for dinner. They have an extensive menu and we had to control ourselves as we wanted to try almost all the dishes on the menu. The grilled ox tongue and steamed barramundi (very fresh) were the stand out dishes, and their fried ice cream was very different from the usual sphere shape with thick batter served everywhere. Theirs is wrapped in filo pastry & deep fried. Their front of house manager Anthony was very friendly and super attentive to all his diners even in a busy dinner sitting. There was this couple next table to us and Anthony noticed that they were chatting away and offered to reheat one of their dishes in the kitchen as it was best served hot. The couple was pleasantly surprised as we were as we had never seen such service in a restaurant. I’ve been here for dinners on a Saturday and Sunday and the restaurant was full on both occasions. Recommend that you make a reservation and go with a group of friends or/and family so you can order more dishes to share and enjoy. ”
“ Pork jowel and crispy quail were delicious. Also had the razor clams and crayfish - also quite good. Pleasant, clean dining area. Would definitely return. ”
“ A good place to hangout with friends. A lot of people is good to book a table before you come. ”
“ The Thai foods are good. However they need to be taken care more on the execution of the dishes. For eg. the grilled ox tongue is a bit overcook and the slices are quite thick make it harder to chew. ”
“ Had a great experience here today (Saturday for lunch). We had a large group and asked for recommendations and ordered nearly all of the suggestions and had a proper feast. Favourites: Whole barramundi with mango salad Grilled Beef salad Massaman beef Crying tiger But everything we had was delicious and there were no leftovers from us all! We finished sharing the house made deep fried ice cream that had a nice light crispy coating (not one of those terribly thick coatings) that was so refreshing on a hot day and that came with fruit. It was also wonderfully cool on such a hot day in there! I would recommend this restaurant especially with a big group so you can try all the dishes! Would recommend booking if you’ve a big group as can see how easily it fills! Friendly staff - and very happy with it all. Will be back! ”
